It started out as a project to help a friend improve their awnings. Now, almost 50 years later, Miller Weldmaster is an international First Choice company!    With machines in over 100 countries, Miller Weldmaster has worked hard to build up its network of international partners and dealers. With partners and dealers around the globe, they are an important part of the Miller Weldmaster family. They assist with selling, servicing, and installing machines around the world. And at the center of our international network, is our EU office. [View our Partners/Dealers](https://www.weldmaster.com/blog/eu-partner-spotlight-rob-van-dijken#partners-dealers-territory-list)   With our European Distribution Center located in The Netherlands, Miller Weldmaster is able to serve our international team as we do today. Rob is a major reason why the European office is so successful. Rob van Dijken joined Miller Weldmaster back in 2013. He previously worked with a company in the Netherlands that sold welding machines. Once that company took on Miller machines, Rob fell in love with the product. To quote Rob he “was very satisfied with the equipment because I [Rob] loved the equipment and it was a perfect match to the existing products.” Then, that company closed that division, and Rob reached out to Scott Miller to see if there was an opportunity for him to join the team. The rest, you can say, is history! Miller Weldmaster EU B.V. was born.   Rob manages our EU office, and he has his hands on every part of the process from building the machines all the way to install. Though it is sometimes difficult, Rob enjoys the challenge, “…it makes me [Rob] proud. The responsibility given to me is something I do not take lightly.”   Rob is not only a part of the sales and production teams, but he also has his hand in the marketing side of the business. He is part of the trade show team and is an especially important team member in European and other international shows. Shows like R+T and Techtextil are just a few of the shows Rob attends.   These shows are key to our international marketing efforts and help get us in front of our customers. Of course, COVID caused issues the past few years. Miller Weldmaster is excited to be attending Techtextil again in 2022! Miller Weldmaster EU B.V. is a big part of why Miller Weldmaster has found success internationally. Our Partner and Dealer network and Rob van Dijken make all of this possible.
